This is the second month of my 12 Months of Grateful series. I have a few things I’d love to highlight for you!

I received my annual bonus and raise this month. It’s always a good thing to receive extra money, right? My manager said it wasn’t as high as he’d asked for, but I’m not complaining. It’s extra and… Well, I have a job. That’s always a good thing to be grateful for!

Months of Grateful

I signed on my first longer term client for my freelance business. I am very excited about this because it puts me closer to my dream of owning my own business and being able to travel the country while working from an RV in a few years.

For the first time in AGES, my sister and I hung out for an entire day, just doing crafts. Most of all, unplugged most of the day and enjoyed each other’s company while making something pretty. And bonus?  We didn’t want to kill each other by the end of that day! LOL.

I resumed selling on eBay again. Hoping to build up more inventory and have people come back to see what inventory I have on hand.

When the teen felt like it, we spent time together just hanging out and somewhat enjoying each other’s company. You know how that relationship goes! We last a few hours and then off to the bedroom rather than start to argue and back down in another couple of hours.

My other laptop froze up and was extremely slow.  Consequently, I broke down and purchased a new laptop. I purchased the Lenovo Ideapad 310The fan kept going, even with one browser running. Because of its advanced age of 6 or 7 years old, it was time. But I did try to fix it first. I will use it for my book for now, and my new one I’ll use for my business. But I absolutely love the Lenovo! It’s faster and doesn’t take me forever to get my work done.  I will purchase the new Microsoft Office package in a few months :). Getting used to Windows 10 is taking a little time. As well as that smaller shift button on the right side of the keyboard!

Learning to live and love life again is going well. I have still been hanging out with friends as well. Trying not to get back into that easy rut of staying home. But, with that said, between working with my new client and writing my book?  Consequently, it’s SO easy to get busy and stay home more.

What happened this past month that you were grateful for?

Crafting is something that bonds my sister and I together. We are far apart in age and don’t share a lot of common interest.

Sounds like you had quite a lovely February, indeed, more reasons to be grateful for! I try to keep up with attitude of gratitude by making my Thankful Thursday posts on Instagram but I have yet to get around to posting them on my blog along with my list. I sure hope I can find the time to write them soon.
