Lately, I’ve been having a lot of fun reading posts from members of the Netflix Stream Team about being a Netflix cheat.  Now, I don’t have anyone to cheat on at this time with Netflix. (Insert sad face here.) But after talking with my teen earlier, I realized…  It doesn’t necessarily have to be cheating on your spouse! My kiddo was talking about how his friend and he were watching The Fosters together on Netflix. But his friend was almost a full season ahead of him!  So, that had me cracking up, remembering all the posts I’ve been reading. Said that his friend was Netflix cheating on him and got the strangest look lol!

Netflix Cheat

I will freely admit, I know I’ll be that Netflix cheat in a relationship when I finally lower my extremely high standards and allow someone into my life. That is going to be a highly uncomfortable conversation. I can hear it now…

Me: We really need to discuss something…

Him: Ok babe.  What’s up? (Yeah, I know. I like babe too.  Honey and sweetie are just too… Sweet.)

Me: I’m a cheater.

Him: (Puzzled…) Come again?

Me: I’m a cheater. (I put my head down in shame.)

Him: Ummm.

Me: I’m impatient. If we ever start a series on Netflix. I will totally Netflix cheat on you…

Now, this could have one of two possible endings:

Him: Oh hells no… I can’t deal with Netflix cheaters…  They totally suck and I will never get stuck with one. See ya!

Or:

Him: Oh.  That’s alright!  I would cheat on you too! So, let’s Netflix cheat together!

Yep, I like the latter ending too!

The shows I would cheat with are:

  • The Walking Dead
  • Supernatural
  • Greys Anatomy
  • Star Trek Voyager
  • Between

What are your favorite shows/movies to watch on Netflix? (Yes, I need to branch out because I’m starting to rewatch.) Are you a cheater too?

Disclosure: I am NOT a part of the #NetflixStreamTeam. I was feeling left out and wanted to join in on the cheating fun :).

My daughter and I are watching a series together on Netflix and it seems to be taking forever. I promised not to watch without her. I’ve thought about cheating, but in the end, I’ve stayed true . . . for now.

My husband goes away for 2 weeks of training for work every year and I do watch without him. That is too long to wait sometimes.

I have actually never Netflix cheated on my friends because most of the stuff I like to watch is from years ago, but I’m pretty sure that I would if there was some good show that I’m totally into.

I never have time to cheat on my hubby with any show. I think we are lucky in the evenings to sit down long enough to watch something!

My husband and I rarely have time to watch TV on weekdays. We do however Netflix binge on weekends so I guess there is no way any one of us cheats.

My husband always falls asleep and I am an insomniac and I just can’t wait. So I have to carry on – Walking Dead was the series that I cheated on him. I didn’t mind rewatching the episodes though because it’s such a good show! Love it. The Crown is one he can’t get in to so I was able to carry on without him and the same with Grace and Frankie. That show is hilarious. That’s one that you can pick up whenever though!

The only show I watch on your list is Supernatural. Have been a fan for years and even went and bought the complete series so we can watch them whenever we want. We watch a show whenever we have time, no set time for either of us.

Yes, I totally cheat on my daughter or I’d never get my shows watched lol. I watched Stranger Things without her, but she has watched it now. I watched it twice. I’ve watched lots of shows ahead of her because she’s in college classes all day!

I don’t watch Netflix. I’m probably the only one in the world, but I love too many shows on regular tv to get sucked into Netflix.

I don’t think I’ve ever watched anything on Netflix. I do watch a lot of TV especially the Lifetime channels. If I were going to cheat it would be a Lifetime movie.

If you love the Walking Dead then you need to try watching the Santa Clarita diet. It’s not quite as serious but it’s very funny. Timothy Olyphant and Drew Barrymore are hilarious.

Grey’s Anatomy is the only one of those that I watch. I’ve been binge watching it for a couple of weeks now.

I’ve been guilty of it a few times, but I always find it more fun to watch some of my favorite shows with my husband. Especially Walking Dead! 🙂

I could never cheat. Watching a series with someone is too important to the enjoyment of the series itself.Shame! lol

I wish I had more time to spend watching TV. I think I wouldn’t Netflix cheat. The last series I was watching on Netflix was The Crown but I do get a glimpse of Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood with my daughter almost daily.

As long as I have time, I watch, i don’t want to be left behind especially when I love the happenings. Also, I don’t want some friends talkig about what they watched. These days I wasn’t able to watch so i need to catch-up!

I just love watching the Netflix. I can’t cheat because my hubby is more fond of sports than Netflix. So, I watch it alone.

Ha ha, my husband and I do this. We have a show we are watching together, and we always try to not watch anymore episodes until we can both sit down together. It makes for a great date night at home.
